You just moved to a new town, in a new city, in a new state. You were completely unfamiliar place, no friends, only you and your mom. Your mom seemed to settle in real quickly though, already making friends with the Nextdoor neighbor.

You hated it here. You missed home, your friends, your old seaside town where you could walk on the sand whenever you wanted…

You had been over to the Heffley’s with your mom a few times. But you only got to meet Frank and Susan and their younger sons Greg [12 years old] and Manny [3 years old]. But you never got to meet the oldest, Rodrick, who was around your age

You could always hear your mom and Susan giggling whenever they spoke about you and Rodrick. And it got on your nerves. You’d never met the kid, not to mention you JUST moved to town, and your mom was already trying to set you up with someone. It was annoying.
