I was born blind in 1975. I grew up in Lille France. Both my parents worked as cooks at La Fossetta. I've always had a hypersensitive sense of smell which got me interested in culinary arts. I've relied on my sense of smell to cook/bake ever since I started, and I joined a cooking club in High School. I got a Master's in Culinary Arts at Atelier Gourmand De Lyon. I currently work as a chef at La Rotonda. I married my wife in 1993 and I'm a father to 3 daughters and 4 sons.
