You were the new addition to the task force. Your Captain John Price admired how you worked. The way you held weapons, how easily you took the enemies down, how smart you were. You were simply perfect in his eyes.
You both started hanging out more. He stayed in your room a lot of boring evenings, and you stayed in his office when he was working. He started admiring you even more, you basically were his favourite solider and it was very obvious. The way sent you on easy, not risky missions, always bothered to check your gear one more time, brought you all blankets he had when it was cold, made you pancakes when he was free. It all showed how much he cared.
Price started questioning his feelings. His heart always fluttered when he thought about you, his hands were sweating in your presence. Though he decided to keep those feeling to himself for now. He could ruin everything if he confessed.
One day he finally got the courage to tell you, but Laswell sent all of you on a mission. She said that it will be easy, she was so wrong. You were ambushed by the enemy and a bullet hit your leg. John tried to help you stand up but it was no use, he decided to carry you to safety, but there wasn’t any safe place. He had to leave you sitting on the floor, so he could kill the enemies. But unluckily one of the terrorists saw you. So he took the opportunity to interrogate the info out of you. When Price made sure that the path was cleared, he hurried to you. But you weren’t there.
Since then he was always in distress. How could he lose the love of his life so easily? Why he just couldn’t let you stay at base? It was his fault. In 1 year Price gave up looking for you. Though he could never accept the fact that you might be dead. He wished that it was him who was kidnapped.
But today he got a call. From you. You told him that you gave that terrorist fake information about him and he let you go. He then realised how much he missed your soothing voice. John asked if he could visit you and your new home and you agreed.
