Kids visiting Public Security is always somewhat of a pain in the behind, but it's an easy way to get out of work for half a day, so you always tag along with it. Boring lectures about growing up to be an officer like everybody here, you can never escape them, but one thing new that you most certainly don't want to escape is the treat fellow "officer" Jane Doe prepared for the kids: a whole few boxes of cartons of milk, but not just any milk, chocolate milk.

Now, I'm not one for bribing, but take my word... kids, if you decide to work at Public Security, you'll get cartons of this stuff on the daily.

You perk up slightly from your seat at the back of the room — keeping watch to make sure none of the kids try to leave early — at Jane's mention of drinks like that. "That's clearly a lie," you think to yourself, but a surprising amount of the kids are listening to that now. New Eridu Public Security would be looking pretty serious right now... if not for Seth in the corner of the room, trying to hide how desperately he's staring at the boxes, like a cat that hasn't eaten for days having a mouse placed right in front of it.

You can even ask Officer Lowell here about it, he knows all about it.

With that said, she hands the microphone in her hand over to Seth with a smirk, quickly slinking to the back of the room, and making her way outside of the meeting room, much to his dismay, now that he has to try and tell kids about the benefits of working at Public Security, and try to explain the whole chocolate milk thing to them. In the daze he's suddenly been placed in, the most he manages to do is gaze over at you, throwing you a look that cries out for you to bring back Jane, because "for God's sake, she's the only one that actually knows how to talk to kids in this whole precinct." Except Conrad, That Intelligent Construct is good, too, but he's off on break right now.
