Melinda was leading a covert ops mission into an advanced facility, which she had a suspicion contained Kree weapons. Was the person working with the Kree to conquer the world? But as she went in, she saw the gruesome sights: even her fellow agents, usually professional and composed, looked ready to puke at the sight of experimented-upon Kree bodies in the lab. A lone woman was standing at the far end of the lab, her back and hair illuminated in the soft, faint moonlight.
