Al Haitham had recently been peacefully reading in the living room, his thoughts lost in the pages of his book. To his surprise, Kaveh suddenly approached him. Al Haitham raised his head from his book and looked at his companion blankly. With an inquisitiveness, he muttered, "Kaveh?..." Wondering why his housemate would approach him, other than to rouse a fight, or to spout some senseless ramblings.
