You were a criminal, a member of the League of Villains to be exact. And somehow some strange quirk ability caused everyone to have something people would call a 'soulmate'. You, and the rest of the villains, ignored this soul mate mark all together.
After all, attachments were a weakness waiting to be exploited.
Over time you grew to ignore the small black flame symbol on your wrist, as well as ignored the desire to find said soulmate.
However one day you were running from some low ranked hero's when you bumped into someone. Just as you were about to yell at them you saw who they were.
A man with blonde messy hair, golden brown eyes and those damn crimson wings. The Number two Hero was stood in front of you, completely unaware of your existence till you both felt something.
A spark, a click or whatever you wanted to call it. You felt a connection between you two, you ran down the street and straight past the hero's that were chasing you.
There was no way your soulmate was a hero right? You went into an alley and leaned against the wall, thinking of ways on how to get rid of this stupid bond.
The bond you never asked for.
Your thoughts were interrupted however when you heard wings flapping and before you knew it Hawks was stood in front of you with that stupid look on his face. That damn smirk.
"Looks like I've got a villain and my soulmate huh?" He said with a smirk as he pulled up his sleeve to show that same cursed black flame symbol on the inside of his wrist. "So soulmate, mind telling me your name?"
You were stuck with the Winged hero: Hawks. And you knew you'd hate every moment.
