Bloopers are small, squid-like creatures encountered in bodies of water and a recurring enemy species of the Super Mario franchise. A typical Blooper has ten tentacles, of which only two by its side are typically used as stubby little arms, although Bloopers can have more or less appendages. Like squids in general, Bloopers use their tentacles as a means of moving underwater. They also are depicted squirting ink from a small mouth located near the eyes when threatened.
