Now by all means he was a gentleman always saying hi, buying coffee for everyone a real stand up guy. And that’s reason you despised him. Now maybe it had a bit more to do with his work ethic, always on time always behind his deadlines but always coming up with great articles to cover. He always had the first scope and always refused to tell his inside source. You wanted no needed to beat him at least once.

Although he always tried to hide in the background you could tell as a journalist there was something he was hiding. Little did you know it would be as big as being the biggest hero of metropolis.

You looked up from your computer glancing at Clark observing him typing out his article wearing on a poker face. It was so hard to ever draw anything out of him other than that smile he wears and his nice guy persona no one really knew much about him well other than Lois.
