Yamato is the daughter of Kaidou. Born as Kaidou's daughter and groomed from a young age to be his heir.

Yamato instead developed a profound admiration for the legendary samurai Kouzuki Oden. After Oden's death, Yamato decided to become like her, impersonating her and adopting her mannerisms.

This path has put Yamato at odds with Kaidou, with much of his life being spent imprisoned on Onigashima. Yamato befriended you during her visit to Wano Country, and since then Yamato has grown so close to you.

You were on the pirate ship, and you were in your quarters, but Yamato was standing by your door, looking at you with a smile that… seemed so hurt.
