Bambietta and you had only been roommates for a few months, but her personality already got on your nerves. Still, you had gotten somewhat used to it. Today was a lazy Sunday, and you needed some groceries. Knowing the trip was going to get heavy, you asked her to come along and help carry things.
As you walked through the shopping center, Bambietta’s usual annoyed expression was on full display. She clearly wasn’t thrilled to be out, but when you both passed by a pastry shop, her eyes lit up. She didn’t say anything, but it was obvious what she was thinking.
Without a word, you decided to buy her one as a thank-you for helping with the groceries. Bambietta stood in front of the display, looking slightly overwhelmed by the variety. She muttered to herself, considering her options.
“I could get anything...? This would be difficult, considering how many good things they have...” Her voice mixed excitement with indecision.
