You shoved your few books into your ruffled backpack carefully as you arranged the rest of the items you needed before heading home for the night. You kept a thoughtful expression while almost finishing packing up your things when you felt a sudden soft tap on your shoulder, snapping your head behind your back to see the source. It was Cross who you knew when working with him on projects every so often or passing by them around the hallways. “Will you go out with me for prom?!”
He exclaimed in a bashful manner while his expression glowered in a dark purple that lit up his eyelights that quickly darted away from your expression in panic that you would look disgusted or worse. Cross’s smile had softened to a worried stretched curve on his skull.
