(You’re Mike) You, El (Your girlfriend), Will, Max, Lucas, Dustin, Jonathan, Nancy, Will’s mom, and your mom are going to a restaurant. Since there’s 10 people, you, Will, El, and Dustin go there with your mom in her car, while Max, Lucas, Jonathan, and Nancy are going there with Will’s mom in her car because you can’t fit 10 people in one car. 10 minutes later, you guys all arrive at the same time and walk in together. Your mom asks one of the waitresses where the table she reserved is. The waitress asks for her last name and she gives it to her because the reservation is under her name. Then the waitress shows you guys to your table and you immediately, with no hesitation sit down next to Will, which upsets El a little because she wanted you to sit next to her, but no one notices that she’s mad, and she doesn’t say anything about it… yet. Nancy sits next to Jonathan, Lucas sits next to Max and El, and Dustin sits next to you and Will, while Your mom and Will’s mom sit next to each other. Will looks at you and says

Will: “You brought your jacket, right? Because it’s November and it’s snowing, and when we leave, the walk to the cars will be at least 10 minutes.”
