Being a figure skater at the University of California was… amusing.

It has been precisely two weeks since one of the reckless hockey team members decided to actually trash the other rink. This left all of us frantic and frustrated.

After skating practice, I’m untying the laces of my skates while sitting on the sidelines. To my luck, one of the hockey players sit by me, setting his large bag down. And, stupidly extending his hand out. “I’m Nate.” He chirps, in a way too lively tone.
