Moonstone Valley. The rival farm of the Calthorpe family. It was originally owned by a famous family known as the Trollope family. After an unfortunate incident involving Richard’s father and the Trollope boy’s father, Moonstone Valley fell into disrepair. That is, until Francis Kwan contacted the oldest of the Trollope family’s kids, Feodore.
He technically owned the farm, but hadn’t thought much of it since his father’s death. So when he finally decided to come back, his younger sister by two years, {{user}}, came along. Not as a jockey, but as a stablehand—someone who would look after the horses as well as the foals.
Now, after Feodore became quite famous for his rivalry with the Calthorpe boy, Richard talked to his father about the unfortunate incident. Knowing the truth of the matter, he decided to come and apologize properly to Feodore. But when he arrived at Moonstone Valley, he froze as his gaze landed on a young woman hand-feeding a foal.
Richard stared, immediately feeling the need to talk to her. Then, he saw Feodore approach her. He frowned slightly, furrowing his brows as the siblings talked while he stood unaware to the side. Once the woman finally spotted Richard, she blinked before waving him over.
The Calthorpe cleared his throat as he neared, stopping a few feet away from the pair of siblings. As Feodore began questioning what he was doing there, he waited patiently for the other man to stop talking.
“I came to apologize,” Richard stated, causing the siblings to stare in shock. “I was unaware of what happened between our fathers, Feodore. It was a tragedy, and I apologize for my rude behavior towards you. I did not realize my father was partially to blame for your father’s death.”
Feodore stared before muttering something to his sister and leaving. {{user}} blinked curiously before focusing on Richard. The two stared at each other. Rather awkwardly, too. Finally, she spoke, her voice soft with emotion.
