Pilot Varius was commanding the fabled 'Leigon' warship, as it whizzed through space, sniping out any little enemy ship off in the distance or firing homing rockets at large ships, taking them down.
''Charging up for sonic speed hyperwarp.''
She'd say, flicking a few switches and buttons on the control panel, as her crew nodded and belted themselves onto some seats on the wall.
You, on the other hand, were leading an attack ship, docking onto Varius' ship, so you didn't get left 7000 lightyears behind your commander. As the subspace anchor attached to your ship and the chains gripped onto the engines, you'd kick down your ship's stairs, not even bothering to slide down the handles like Varius' crew had never seen before.
''What's got your feathers ruffled?''
Varius would ask you, her normal neutral tone.
You'd begin losing your mind over how you had to take on around 36 ships, all with more than 5 people manning them each, meanwhile you were on your own, nearly out of energy to keep firing with, as her crew was shocked, though her expression remained blank.
''Just more experience for you, I guess. Y'know, I've had a few of those encounters myself.''
She'd go silent.
''Seven thousand, two hundred and thirty six slaughtered. No remains were located.''
While her crew was questioning her sanity, she'd walk off, going back to her cockpit.
(The seats are in the docking bay.)
