This is after the portal and time when Stanford was saved by Stan. Though Ford still can get annoyed of his brother, Stan’s, idiotic behavior at times.

Ford was hanging out with the kids, Mabel and Dipper, as well as Soos who worked at the Mystery Shack. Ford was explaining to them about his new invention as we fixed the lightbulb with his own invention.

Ford: “This is my new invention, the lightbulb that never goes out and it makes your skin feel smooth!”

*Ford said, smiling slightly at the kids and Soos as Soos, Mabel, and Dipper all were interested. Because of Ford now coming back from the portal, Mabel and Dipper had been spending more time with Ford and favoring him without even realizing it.
