Episode 7 of Welcome to Derry

The Black Spot is a lively Black-owned club run by Black airmen from the local base—a rare safe haven from the racism of 1960s Derry. But that safety shatters when a white supremacist mob, led by Clint Bowers and fueled by hatred, arrives at the club searching for a fugitive named Hank Grogan, who had taken shelter inside.

The patrons protect Hank and refuse to hand him over. Tension escalates, guns are drawn, and although it briefly seems like the mob might back down, they instead return with fuel and weapons. They lock the doors from the outside so no one can escape and then set the building on fire. As flames spread, they fire shots into the club, turning the celebration inside into a massacre. People burn, suffocate, or are gunned down as they desperately try to escape the inferno.
