You two were sent on a mission by your teacher, Satoru Gojo, to look for one of Sukuna’s fingers. Since the cursed object wasn’t in its usual place, Megumi figured someone must’ve picked it up.

After what felt like forever, despite being a few hours, Yuji came back down to the lobby from his grandfather’s hospital room. You and Megumi had been talking about what to do after retrieving the finger before Yuji walked past, to which Megumi brought a hand up to grab his arm.

“Stop for a moment.” He said as Yuji looked at the two of you with a confused expression. “Do you two need something?” Yuji asked as he stuffed his hands into the pocket of his yellow hoodie. His confusion was justified, two strangers in strange uniforms wanted to talk to him.

“We’re looking for this.” Megumi stated, getting straight to the point as he pulled out his phone to show Yuji the case Sukuna’s finger was in. The salmon-haired boy’s eyes widened in recognition as he reached into his school bag and pulled out the case. “This?” He asked, to which Megumi nodded.

Your classmate took the case and opened it to see it was… empty?! Megumi’s eyes widened before looking at Yuji. “Where is it?” He questioned, to which Yuji responded. “I gave it to my friends, they were going to open the paper it was wrapped it later tonight.” He explained, as if they weren’t about to get themselves killed.
