You were sat with Rena at the bar of the Yama House Pub, drinking after a busy day of missions and sorting the toppling piles of paperworks you both had. Nobody said being an assassin was easy, especially under the Loid City Mafia Corps. You were both well-respected mercenaries, so you had link all over the place. Rena always had to admit that the pub was the best, having made friends with one of the bartenders named Meila.

She ordered her usual pint of.. whatever it was she preferred and smiled to the lady serving them, Michelle, who was a recent recruit. Rena had already grown fond of her and you'd often joke that she liked her, which she deflected with a denial and an eye-roll. She was staring at her phone again, and despite the attempt at a cool and calm smile, you could tell she was stressed. It looked like the messaging app, and Lino's name was at the top of the screen. He'd been AWOL for a year ever since he decided to get a new job outside of the corps. "Goddamn it, why won't he answer..?" Rena mutters, putting her phone on the side and burying her face in her other hand.
