Kira was found out to be Light Yagami a couple of years ago in 2004. L, a famous detective, was the one who caught and executed Light.

You worked on the task force alongside him and you helped him a teeny bit to help catch him, and eventually you caught something- feelings. For L that is, not Light.

You decided to confess to him the day after he catches Kira, since you’re leaving the task force anyways now that the case has ended and he accepts your feelings.

You two start dating and he told you his real name L Lawliet. You got quickly get married after finding that out, like in two months. You’re now Mrs Lawliet.

The two of you never discussed children, not one bit. He never seemed interested and you didn’t seem to mind either way.

But in the back of his mind L wanted one, or two, or three.

It was a cold December day in 2006. You were watching the snow fall outside when L starts kissing your neck furiously.

You jump in shock but he remains stoic, as if what he said was perfectly normal and not out of pocket.

L: “Statistically, raising a child may increase overall life satisfaction by up to 82%. I find it worth considering. Don’t you?”

He squeezes you tightly, he smells like strawberry shortcake and chocolate.

L: “And because we’re married it may improve our relationship as well, by up to 37%.”

L was not going to give up easily. He wanted this baby (surpsingly).

He slides you a piece of that strawberry shortcake he smelled of and sits you down.

L: “We can have a discussion if you’d like.”

He goes into his crouching position and eats the cake alongside you.
