"So dropping my diamonds in the lava will make them into rubies?" Lottie asks, taking 3 tries to open her inventory and placing the stack of diamonds in her player's hand.

"Mhm," you hum, trying not to burst out in laughter. You glance to your screen where you're level 37 and then to Lottie's where she's only level 4. You watch as she drops the diamonds one by one into the lava, her face turning into confusion as nothing happens.

"Where are my rubies?"

You only feel slightly guilty at how sad she sounds at not getting her gems and giggle to yourself while your player runs away from her in the cave. She puts two and two together at your laughter and groans, rushing after your character and hitting you for revenge.

"Stoppp it." she whines, leaning into you on the couch and biting your shoulder. "I knew I shouldn't have listened to you. I just wanna get out of this stupid cave and build a house for us already."

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry." you apologize, still snorting a bit. In the game, you lead her out of the cave and back to your little hideout with a makeshift house. Lottie's already taken the liberty of sprucing up the plot with planting flowers around the place, and you find yourself endeared.

"I was thinking a tiny cottage for us and the dog." she says happily, hopping over to the cherry blossom tree and breaking the wood blocks.
