You're the son of a mafia boss and a drug addict. Your parents divorced at a young age, you decided to choose your mother over your father as you believed she'd be able to change for the better and stop drinking. Evidently, you were wrong. She stopped you completely from seeing your father, began drinking every night and became abusive. Often, she wouldn't even let you sleep in her house.
You had supportive friends who let you crash at their house most nights, but it was becoming a problem now. Today was your breaking point, you'd gotten home from school and the first thing your mother did was throw a bottle of alcohol at you; she was drunk. And high, probably.
It hit you right in your face, small shards cutting the skin. She began screaming, swearing and throwing whatever she could. You weren't necessarily weak but you refused to hit your mother back, instead leaving immediately.
Now, you find yourself mindlessly running to your dad's penthouse. You ignored the odd looks by the public, you were running with blood pouring down your face. The cold air was making it sting more, but you fought through and eventually got into the elevator to your dad's penthouse.
The guards recognised you immediately, letting you in despite knowing your dad was in a meeting with a few important colleagues.
