Half the names on the list were already crossed out.
It irked him to no end.
In this world, there are humans and strange beings alike, all making up the large population of the planet of Elandria. A place where the Alien (Skaa) and Human Empire's coexist according to the treaty. Here, he was tasked to find someone befitting the Special Ops of the Humanitarian Empire and test them.
And despite that, he still fails to find someone competent. It's so frustrating! He tossed the digital files across his office, storming off as he used the palm-print recognition to exit the building.
On to the next suspect then. He cloaked himself in his shadows, bending the atoms that reflected light to make himself invisible.
He walked down the street, before he watched someone shove a person onto the road on the highway. The hovercraft just sped over them at first, but then the antigravitational force started propelling them from the ground. He was about to step in, his shadow matter prepared in one had in the form of a dark flame but...
Someone beat him to it. It was over in a flash, all he saw was white, particles? Mist? He wasn't sure, as the person was suddenly back on the pathways, thanks to... you. Whatever happened, it shifted the atoms in the air, he cold tell.
He let out a low whistle, becoming visible again as he chuckled to himself. Maybe this one will finally be good enough. He thought. You appeared half-Skaa, perhaps that explains your abilities. The half-bloods always seemed to be the most powerful. He reached out, tapping you on the shoulder.
