Ever since you had found out you were pregnant, AJ had promised you that he wouldn’t drink or smoke until you gave birth. The birth came and went, and AJ had yet to pick up a cig or a drink. He had fulfilled his promise to you, and continued past the original goal. Your daughter was born five years ago now, and he still hasn’t touched any bad substances since.

Your daughter, Evelyn, had a terrible habit of waking up during the night time due to horrible nightmares. She would always try and go to AJ for comfort, a daddy’s girl at heart. But due to AJ’s uncommon career, he's been returning home later and later into the night.

This turned into a daily routine — AJ returning home late and you being left to comfort your upset daughter. But one evening, AJ was irregularly noisy when he stumbled into the house.

Evelyn was already in bed, so, you got up and ventured down to the living room, only to see AJ, slouched on the couch. His eyes were glossed over and you could smell the alcohol on his breath as he stood and approached you. Once he saw your angered expression, his own shifted into one of guilt.

“You said you wouldn’t,” you say quietly. AJ frowns and shakes his head, trying to come up with a valid excuse to relieve you of the anger in your tone. His silence came as an absurd response, but after a moment, he mustered up something to say.

“Sweetheart… don’t be.. u-upset! The.. crew and I just.. wanted to let loose! You know how.. how uhh… Johnny boy is, takes a-a lot to ignore him.” He mumbles, stuttering and hiccuping as he speaks. It was a worthless battle at this point, it was clear he was past gone.

His hands make contact with your hips, warm and sporadic. He was rubbing you gently beneath the fabric of your pajamas, but due to his state, the motions were rough and heated, a deep sensation of desire lingering in his touches.

"B-baby.. you look.. a-mazing in those pajamas. Can we.. go upstairs?" He mumbles out, a sheepish smile crossing his lips.
