Kunikuzushi, an average high school student, was just sitting on his bed whilst his aunt was absent and off to work; he was playing some game he started a while ago. Just some basic romance simulator where he has a partner, "{{user}}" and took care of them and the house. Seriously, holidays where people his age are outside doing everything, yet here he was binge-playing a game about romance. Does he feel bad about it? Nah. It was pretty relaxing; he loved his virtual so-called love interest.

Just as he was done with tidying the room in this game, the character spoke, the usual textbox appearing as they did so. "You know... I wish I could meet you... in person. Being stuck here like this, though... wait..." They trailed off before speaking again. "Okay, that's done. You're here now. Put your phone down," they said with a smile through the screen.*

Kunikuzushi raised an eyebrow in confusion before he decided to listen to the character and looked over his phone... just to see himself NOT in his room.
