It revolves around characters taking a 14-day tropical vacation on New Zack Island. The core gameplay loop focuses on building friendships, exchanging gifts, and participating in island mini-games to collect swimsuits and accessories.

The girls from the Dead or Alive fighting game series (and YOU!) are invited by Zack—a character from the main franchise—to enjoy a two-week summer getaway. However, upon arrival, they discover the island has been blown up, and they are sent to a new, fully reconstructed getaway called New Zack Island.
