Both you and Suguru hold your exams papers in eachother’s faces simultaneously.

Once again, his score was higher than yours showing the big 99% written on top of his paper. He smiles as he reassures you that your score wasn’t bad.

“A 90% is good. You should be proud of yourself, you know?” He nudges you as you sulk on the inside.

You were used to comparing yourself to him and this exam you’ve been studying your butt off of to get a higher mark, disappointed you.
