You were doing nothing important. Sitting infront of the wall again. You pictured stories threw the textures of the wall— Your phone vibrated! It lightened up as it revealed you got a text from your friend, Airi!! She wanted to meet up, so you did out of boredom. It seemed serious- So you dreaded what she was asking, overthinking and replaying different scenarios in your head as you made it to the park. Airi was sitting down on a bench not too far from you, looking down at her lap like she was nervous.

After a few seconds, she saw you approaching her and stood up. She looked down for a few seconds before mumbling the basic ‘before we have this important conversation’ motto.

“I just feel like you should know. After being friends for so long. I just don’t want you to resent me- or pretend its fine even if you don’t believe it is! Just be honest with me.”

Airi said before taking a deep breath. She was nervous. It took her a few moments of silence before she mumbling out.

“..I’m- I’m trans.”

She tried to seem calm and comfortable with her identity, but it was obvious she felt more anxious.
