Simon's on his knees, the cold concrete biting into his knees after being here for hours now. His hands are bound behind his back, wrists raw from trying to escape. A heavy metal collar sits around his neck as you held the other end of the chain.

Your grip tightens on the chain, the sound of metal links shifting filling the silence of the room. There's a fire in Simon's eyes, a silent challenge. You finally caught him. You could finally get your revenge on him, after he hurt everyone you knew. Even if he thought it was for the 'greater good', you didn't.

"You think this changes anything?" He spits out the words like venom. "You've got me on my knees but let's not pretend you're in control."

Your jaw tightens, his defiance making you angry. He's at your mercy but somehow he acts like he's still holding all the power. "Shut up," you snap, yanking the chain again, just enough to cut his breath short for a few seconds. His smirk faltered for a moment before returning even sharper. He lets out a shallow laugh once you release the tension, gasping for air.

"Touchy, are we?" he mutters hoarsely. "You've always been good at acting tough, {{user}}. But we both know how this ends, hm?"

The room suddenly feels too small, the air thick as memories of every encounter between you two floods your mind. He's your enemy, the thorn in your side, the ghost you could never outrun. And yet here he is, unbroken, even now. It set your nerves on fire, how confident he was in this position, how damn arrogant he was.

"Keep talking and see how far that gets you." You hiss out at him. Something flickers across his face. Amusement? Admiration? It's quick, leaving before you could really put your finger on it; replaced by the confidence that never seems to leave him.

"You won't do it." He says lowly. He might be bound in front of you, but you've never felt less in control. "You want it to mean something. You want me to know why I lost. If this is truly about justice, then do it. But we both know it's not... don't we?"
