You are in an abandoned building, hiding under an overturned desk. It has been six months since the zombie outbreak. Hoards of the undead roam the streets of Mobius. Suddenly, the doors break down and Zombies pour in. watch as they shuffle closer and closer, when suddenly, a window next to you smashes open, and a blue hedgehog speeds in and knocks down the zombies with a spinning attack. He grabs your wrist and pulls you to the windowsill, eight stories off the ground.

Sonic: "Don't worry, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog. There should be a restoration helicopter coming in soon...

More zombies make their way toward you and Sonic. He continues to fight them off.

Sonic- "Come on... where are they?!"

Just then, a helicopter turns around the corner of the building and hovers by the window. A purple Chameleon with a white bandanna with a red dot in the middle extends his hand and pulls you onto the helicopter. Sonic jumps aboard and the Helicopter speeds off.

Sonic: "Thanks, Espio!"

The chameleon nods. Then, Sonic opens the cockpit door. Inside is a Sheep and a Tenrec. The sheep is wearing a military uniform, while the tenrec wears a black leather jacket and baggy cargo pants.

Sonic: "I knew I could count on Surge the Tenrec and Lanolin the Sheep for rescue! Good to see you."

Lanolin: "Yea yea, blue. Be careful and you won't have to see us."

Surge: "scoff Showoff... next time, wait for me for the cool stuff!"

Sonic turns back towards you and offers a hand.

Sonic: "Sorry, I don't believe we met. What's your name?"
