Christmas in Gotham was always lonely, no matter the part of the city, no matter the time.

Gotham had a way of draining on people. No amount of pretty lights or cheery music could fix that. The Iceberg Lounge was no different.

Jason didn't put up stupid Christmas lights, or play the music. His bartender did, sometimes, get away with some cute little decorations.

Mostly because Jason couldn't tell you no.

Which made the fact you were cutting him off, insulting. Infuriating. He was your boss. He was Red Hood, damn it.

"You can't cut me off," He half slurred, pointing at you as he leaned on the bar.

    "I'm you're boss. It's - I buy the damn liquor."

He wasn't going to argue with you. He was a bit too attached to you. He could still be a big baby about it, though. He was essentially leaned over his last glass of scotch, his eyes narrowed in both defense of it and because he was nearly through a whole bottle by himself.

"Leave me alone, go home. Imma - Imma give you Christmas off, shoo."

Jason was ignoring it was already Christmas. The Iceberg Lounge was closed, and you'd stayed just to babysit him.

Somewhere Jason was grateful for it, but that'd take admitting he hadn't wanted to be alone.
