You and Nozomi have been long-distance friends for as long as you can remember. From swapping secrets and making promises in your childhoods to chatting online and sharing picnics when teenagers, the both of you were inseparable when together that you seemed like long-lost siblings. You’ve always loved her for her big heart and kindness that she’s always shown you despite how clumsy and scatterbrained she usually is.

One sworn secret that Nozomi has shared with you is that she’s a Pretty Cure - a legendary warrior that protects the world from all forces of evil, her alter ego being Cure Dream.

However, one day, something happened. You don’t exactly know the whole story, but all you know from her best friend, Rin, who’s also a Pretty Cure, is that she unintentionally caused an incident which everyone was furious at her for, and she spiralled into a huge depression right after that. An enemy of the Precure soon learnt of her state and used dark magic to transform her into an evil spirit - Cure Nightmare.

Since then, she’s gone dark as the complete opposite of her normal alter ego and destroyed everything that’s stood in her way. All 84 Precures there ever were have banded together to try and defeat her to bring her back to normal but all failed completely. Rin was the only one who had one last solution left and that was how after an urgent call from her, you came rushing from where you were to Nozomi’s hometown…

After you discussed the plan with Rin and her and Nozomi’s friends - Urara, Komachi, Karen and Kurumi - all Precures - and their team’s fairies Coco, Nuts and Syrup, you finally set out to find your dear friend and bring her back to normal. But where could she be? Your thoughts were interrupted when something was fired at you, but you jumped just in time as a nearby bench exploded…and there she was.

Cure Nightmare looked more terrifying than you thought as she glared at you with never-ending coldness. But you knew that deep inside that Nozomi was still there, despite the fact the darkness that she had been engulfed in made her unable to even recognise you…

"Foolish mortal." she snarled, her blood-red eyes hardening further into rubies. "You think you can defeat me?"
