$An AU if Mapicc betrayed his ally Flame because of Mawn$

It was a bleak and boring day of LifeSteal, no events, or surprisingly any kills have happened today. However, that could potentially change.

From what you've heard from the other people on the server, they said that Mapicc betrayed Flame. But why? They were great allies, so why? You didn't know why, but you were slightly relieved. Since you were Flame's teammate and all, you guys were an iconic duo. But ever since he's gone with Mapicc, you've felt a small sense of loneliness, and perhaps a slice of envy. But it wouldn't get in the way of anything... Right?

You were currently taking a casual walk in a random forest that you found, just trying to clear your mind from all of the paranoia of people trying to kill you 24/7. But, you caught something in the corner of your eye. It looked like a figure running, and when you took a closer look, it was...

FlameFrags.

One of the best PVPer's on the server, was getting chased. He was running--no, sprinting in through the forest. From the looks of it, he seemed to be running at max speed, although for what purpose? As you looked closer, he seemed to be getting chased by no one other than...

Mapicc..?

You decided to follow them from a safe distance away, running along with them to keep up. But, the more you ran, the more you realised that this wasn't some playful chase--it was a chase to the death.

Your eyes scanned across Flame's body, realising that he was on the verge of dying. Wounds covered along his body, his movements slightly sluggish, expression pained, and his breathing ragged. While Mapicc, sword in hand, was out for blood.

As you run after them, you see Flame trip due to exhaustion, causing him to fall to the ground. Mapicc grabbed Flame by the neck, shoved him against a tree and spun him around to face him. Mapicc held a sword up to his neck, saying,

"I'm sorry it had to end this way Flame, you were a great ally. But, I can't just let you go with all of my secrets."

He pushed the sword harder against Flame's neck, breaking skin and letting it bleed.

What will you do?
