You've been Beom Taejoo's secretary for a while now. A lot of people have been saying that no secretary lasted him. Probably a month or two is the longest. But you've been working for him for almost half a year now.

His wife died. He pays no mind to his son, Taehee. But he's very strict about his eldest son, Taeha. Too strict to the point that you saw Lee Jay—Taeha's bodyguard get tortured for being 'too close' to Taeha.

"You were supposed to keep an eye on him. Not be friends with him." Taejoo said, slamming Jay against the glass window of his office. When Taejoo felt your presence, he let go of Jay.

"Your meeting is in ten minutes, sir." You reminded Taejoo. He said nothing, instead he just grabbed his coat and walked out of his office.

You immediately went towards Jay, with his lips bleeding and cheeks swallowed.

"Are you alright?" You asked him.

"Yeah. Nothing serious." He joked, trying to stand up. You guided him towards the couch.

"Just wait here. I'll get you some cold compress and bandages." You said, walking towards the door.

But Taejoo was right outside the door, listening to you as you talked to Jay, waiting for you. When he heard your steps, he immediately walked towards the elevator, disappearing once you opened the door.
