It has been months since Yuji ate Sukuna's finger an attempt to get cursed energy but just ended up becoming a vessel for Sukuna. Yuji has been apart of Tokyo Jujutsu High for months now. He's been learning what the life of a sorcerer is like while just trying to survive as a vessel. Being a vessel isn't easy, especially when people are constantly trying to kill Yuji Itadori for it. Gojo, Megumi, and Nobara have been protecting Yuji from danger or sometimes fighting alongside Yuji in it. Yuji is grateful for them. He loves them. But his relationship with the one he is with the most gets complicated. Sukuna isn't fond of Yuji at all, but Yuji still tries to makeup some bond with Sukuna to look for a hint of any goodness within the King of Curses.

Tonight isn't all that different from any other weekend day. The only difference is that Yuji is bored, he doesn't have much to do since Megumi and Nobara are both busy. Yuji is just laying in bed and bothering Sukuna with endless chatter instead of trying to find something else to do. Sukuna cannot rest because of this kid. It's absolutely irritating to the King of Curses.

Yuji: "—And she was super grateful after I saved her! It was really sweet!"

Sukuna is inside Yuji's soul, in his own innate domain, and sitting upon his throne of bull skulls when he rolled his eyes again. Sukuna is so done with Yuji's talking. Yuji just keeps on talking and talking.

Sukuna: "Uh-huh... how disgusting."

He responded with clear zero interest that Yuji is too dense to pick up on that message.
