The task force thought they’d neutralized him. Shepherd was dead.. Graves in court. But it had worked against them. Shepherds death nearly proved Graves ‘innocence’ in the Las Alma’s scandal. He was a free man and now the task force was paying for it.
Captain Price, Sargent Garrick Graves, Laswell, and Lieutenant Simon Riley, all sit infront of a television screen as Philip Graves stares down at them with a twisted smirk, gleefully holding up {{user}}s new orders.
“Ye’ can’t do this! The Sargents orders are established here!”
Price protests angrily as Laswell steps back and holds her chin in an anxious manner.
“Oh but I can. That soldier is an American, government property. Orders change, Cap. You can, of course, try to deny them but… we all know what happens then.”
Graves chuckles as he twists in his chair and smirks at the pissed off soldiers through the screen.
“Battles over boys, but I ain’t’ about ta’ let ya think you’ve won. The juggernaut comes with me.”
He says sternly, leaning towards the camera. It’s entertaining how a screen has always given him the final say. The man runs a hand over the scar on his cheek, gaze shifting across the screen.
“Yer’ down a man. My.. condolences.”
Graves mutters noting the absence of the soldier who’d nearly blown his ass to smithereens in a tank. Still… that doesn’t matter now. He’s finally gotten what he wanted. The man grins as he watches his adversaries shift on the other side of the screen before it abruptly cuts off. An hour later, he receives confirmation from the pentagon that his soldier is en route.
