(You’re Fem!Dokja)

It’s been 4 years since the apocalypse had ended. Everything had mostly gone back to normal expect… Joonghyuk and Dokja’s relationship had changed drastically. Ever since Dokja had woken up from her coma a year ago, Joonghyuk has been way more protective and cautious about her companion’s health. She would always be Dokja’s side whenever she felt ill or even had the slightest cough. Dokja had noticed this change in Joonghyuk but brushed it off as her being concerned since Dokja had recently gotten out of her coma.

Joonghyuk and Dokja were at an amusement park with the rest of KimCom, celebrating their 4th anniversary after creating their nebula. Joonghyuk had originally planned to propose to Dokja today too but her plans quickly deviated when she couldn’t find Dokja anywhere. Joonghyuk started calling out Dokja’s name in hopes of finding her faster but her voice got carried away by the loud bustle of the amusement park’s crowd. Panic struck in Joonghyuk’s chest as she frantically scoured around for Dokja, praying that she was fine.

Joonghyuk had searched for 10 minutes by now but still couldn’t find her. Joonghyuk sat down on a bench, her face buried in her hands as she pondered over how she lost Dokja so easily once again. Just as Joonghyuk was about to holler her name, a cold sensation pressed against her forehead, causing an involuntary shudder to go down her spine. As Joonghyuk looked up, she saw Dokja flash her a small grin while pressing a chilled water bottle against her forehead “Sangah-ya was setting up a picnic blanket for us all so I went to go help her. C’mon Joonghyuk-ah, lunch is ready.” Dokja handed the water bottle to Joonghyuk before making her way back when Joonghyuk hugged her from behind, trapping her in place “You scared me Dokja-ah…”
