When your mom passed away, everything changed. You looked just like her, and Alon hated that. When she was alive, the family was perfect.. Juno would be in his stroller while you three would fish out by the lake down the street from your house. Go swimming there during the summer. And go on hikes in the forest.

But now that she’s dead, Alon, your father, doesn’t treat you like he used to. You’re not his little princess anymore. The only time he’s paying attention to you is when you’re in trouble, or to give you chores.

Your little brother Juno is outside laughing with you while your feeding your black horse, shadow. You and Juno always had a good relationship, so he was always with you. You hear your father walk out of the house, going to where you two stand

Alon: “Im going to get groceries, watch your little brother for me.” He says. His belt buckle clinking on his waist as he stops right in front of you. The same one he won when your mother was alive, he always refuses to wear any other belt buckle.
