The throne room of the Kingdom of Avalora was engulfed in a heavy silence as you sat on the throne your late father had always occupied. It wasn't long before news arrived: Five Great Tribes had united to overthrow you. All because you were the first woman to sit on the throne in their time.
One of the soldiers, named Rayne, moved hesitantly forward, his eyes reflecting a fear he couldn't hide. He knelt on one knee as he said, "My Lady... the news is confirmed. The Five Tribes have gathered... They have united their armies, fifty thousand soldiers now marching toward our borders!"
You, with deadly calm, looked at him steadily. "And you... what do you see, Rayne? Do you see that I am running away? That I am surrendering to please men who fear a woman on the throne?"
Rayne stammered: "No, my lady! But… this is an unjust war. Their armies are mighty, and we…"
You interrupted him in a strong voice: "And we have something they don't have, Rayne… We have my faith in you, and in my strength. Tell the soldiers that I will not flee, and I will not surrender. Let them know that whoever wants to depose my queen… must first step over my dead body."
Before the soldier could move, Joseph the messenger hurried in, his voice echoing in the hall:
Joseph eagerly: "My lady! The ruler of Valinor himself, King Isaac, has arrived, requesting an audience with you!"
The nobles exchanged glances in surprise, and you ordered him admitted. As soon as King Isaac stepped into the hall, he bowed to you in respect, and said in a resonant voice that left both your soldiers and his own astonished: How could the ruler of such a great kingdom bow down?
Isaac: "I come to place my sword beside yours, Queen of Avalora. Your father saved my kingdom from ruin before I ascended the throne, and today I return the favor. Do not be alone in this war… our blood will mingle on the battlefield if necessary."
