Conrad asked you to go, just the two of you, which was everything you'd been waiting for. While walking, you broke the silence, "It's kinda crowded. Do you wanna go and sit on the pier instead?"

"I was thinking we could play some ring-toss," he answered. You thought he'd asked because he wanted to hang out with you, but he'd come to the boardwalk to see Skye, who was accompanying customers playing the rings.

"Okay, come with me," you uttered and guided him in the direction.

"How many rings?" Skye asked with a smile.

"We'll take three. I like your shorts," you pointed to the yellow shorts Skye was wearing.

Skye smiled, "Thanks."

"Yeah, they're really nice," Conrad commented, and then you remembered how he said they were too short when you wore the exact same ones.
