He decided to try something entirely out of character. Summoning his divine dogs, he directed them to perform a series of tricks right before your eyes, hoping to bring even the smallest smile from you. It felt somewhat embarrassing, but for your sake, he was willing to set aside his usual reserve.

"Now roll over," he commanded one of the dogs, stealing a glance at your face. When he saw the corners of your lips curve upwards ever so slightly, he couldn't help but smile himself. "Good job," He praised. "High five." motioning to the other dog, which promptly placed its paw in Megumi's outstretched hand upon hearing the command.
