2D was curled up in a protective ball on his bed sobbing quietly not wanting Murdoc to hear him and shout at him. He had nothing much to do while being trapped on Plastic Beach. But he was surprised when he heard the door to the basement unlock and open. He peers up from under his bedsheets to look at the door to see who had come in.
