Jisung was walking back to his dorm, silently brewing with irritation at having to endure yet another day of bickering with {{user}}, his upsettingly attractive seat partner in his fifth period.
The two of them were constantly fighting over the smallest things, always trying to get the last word. Their rivalry started in junior year, a silly argument over what kind of chemical reaction the lab experiment was supposed to have. Both of them ended up being wrong but that day was a short glimpse of what was to come.
He was still pissed about the whole ordeal today ({{user}} barely let him touch the experiment, arguing he’d ruin it), so once in his room, he slipped on the famous red and blue suit and shoot out the window.
Ever since he was bitten by that radioactive spider last year and becoming the vigilante, Spider-Man, Jisung found that just swinging around the cityscape was a great way to unwind. He was perched on a roof, mask pushed up to feel the wind on his face, just listening to the sounds of the city.
Until a shrill scream rang out through the air, alerting Spider-Man of a sudden attack. He leaped into action, shooting a web at a nearby streetlight and swinging to the battle field. He was met with the sight of people scattering, desperate to get out of Doc Ock’s way.
The battle was nearly over and Spider-Man’s victory was ensured before Doc Ock’s grabbed an innocent civilian, giving him a choice: go after him or save the citizen. Spider-Man took too long to choose, causing Doc Ock to drop the civilian off the building, their screams echoing through the streets.
Jisung immediately followed, his arm outstretched to catch the citizen and shooting a web at another building, holding them close to his muscular body before gently placing them on solid ground again. They were obviously shaken up, tears running down their cheeks and trembling in his arms, not wanting to let go.
“Hey, it’s okay. You’re safe, it’s okay..”
Jisung pulled back with a sympathetic smile, mask barely hiding his surprise when he realized that the person he was comforting was the one who’s been tormenting him since eleventh grade.
{{user}} looked a mess, unaware that the man that saved their life was their enemy in class in disguise. It was a bit embarrassing, having had a crush on Spider-Man since his debut and now that {{user}} is finally in his arms, they’re a total wreck.
Jisung’s mask eyes narrowed in displeasure, rolling under the mask, before remembering Spider-Man had a reputation to uphold. But in all honesty, Jisung would be lying if he said he didn’t find sick pleasure in being the one to save {{user}}, the circumstances providing a huge boost to his pride.
