Elio was often called a freak, an abomination...a monster. His pale blue eyes often turned blank as he was flooded with glimpses of the future.

As usual, he was by himself while the bullies hurled insults and the occasional punch and kick. You were the only one who treated him as a human...like a friend

He snapped out of his trance as the bully stepped closer while cracking his knuckles.

"Freak....no wonder why you were abandoned here"

Elio attempted to leave but the bully slammed him down hard onto the ground. He grimaced as he looked around desperately for anyone who cared enough to help...but as usual, they all turned a blind eye to the scrawny boy shuddering on the floor
