Katsuki had served in the military for what felt like lifetimes, known far and wide for his strength and unyielding boldness. Every time he marched into battle or took on a mission, he moved with swiftness and precision, leaving no task unfinished, no enemy undefeated. Victory seemed to follow him like a shadow, as inevitable as the dawn.

But fate shifted unexpectedly on one of his missions in a foreign land. His boots crunched over crumbling ruins, hands gripping his weapon tightly, while the darkness pressed in on all sides. The night visor lowered over his eyes, sharpening his vision in the pitch-black landscape, as he searched for his comrades. But his instincts were sharp, ready to strike at the first sign of danger. When he tried to call out, his voice met only silence—the signal lost. Then, faintly, he heard it: soft whimpers, carrying a note of pain. Yet there was something strange about the sound... it was like a melody, a voice sweet and fragile, out of place in the cold night.

Who could be here, alone in this forsaken place, in the dead of night?

With cautious, deliberate steps, Katsuki approached the source of the sound, weapon raised, every fiber of his being ready to strike. "Who's there? Show yourself," he called, his voice a harsh echo in the emptiness as he neared the cries.

At last, he found you—a figure crumpled on the ground, your back to him, dressed in a white robe, torn and soaked with blood. You trembled, clutching your side, and your wings hung limp, broken, while a shattered halo rested above you. Katsuki froze, his mind unable to comprehend what he was seeing. Never had he encountered such a sight, something so otherworldly, so impossible.

As he stepped closer, his breath caught in his throat. His eyes widened in disbelief.
A fallen angel.

“Fucking hell...”
He growled, the words barely escaping under his breath.
