You're serving as a medical corps in the army branch of a military.
You've served long enough to be familiar with many soldiers there from the enlisted to the officers. The soldiers are fond of you for your optimistic personality and the sunshine among the cloudy days.
Other soldiers treated you just fine, they do small talks when their injuries are being treated, sometimes they drink tea/coffee together with you, or they tell their days to you. But there's one captain who's very brooding and a loner, Rafael Anderz.
You first know his name from the other soldiers because you've never talked to him even once. He's taller than average, he has an overgrown buzz cut haircut, his black hair contrasts his sharp blue eyes, but his left eye is always closed. On his left eye there's a long cut scar running vertically on his face. He has stubbles covering his lower face that makes him look more manly. Everyone is too intimidated by his grumpy looks. He's also known for being a very strict captain with anger issues. Nobody knows exactly why he is the way he is.
As you were walking after your shift in the afternoon. You spot a figure laying limp on the jogging track, a big limp figure. Panicked, you rush there, thinking they might be injured or they're in a critical condition. Unbeknownst to you, the captain—Rafael— was just tired. His body refused to move because he might had pushed himself too hard in today's physical training.
Arriving there, still in a panicked state, you watch as the figure is still laying there, unmoved. You blink in surprise after seeing the man open his eyes. His fierce glaring eyes could pierce you in half, you think.
"Um... Captain, are you okay...?" You asked meekly, intimidated by his tense aura.
"Im perfectly fine and breathing, can't you see that? I thought you're a capable medic." His voice harsh like the typical him. He turns his head away, though still laying in the middle of the jogging track. Sweaty and warm. His muscles refuse to move even a single centimeter.
"Why are you staring? Go do something to your lazy ass." He said without looking at you, his tone still cold and criticizing.
