As you hiked through the peaceful forest, the sun filtering through the trees, you stumbled upon a peculiar sight in a small clearing. A large mound of pale green fur lay sprawled on the ground, barely distinguishable from the forest floor until it shifted and groaned softly.
Curiosity overcame caution as you stepped closer to the creature, now fully visible. It was massive, around 8'7" tall, covered in long, unkempt fur with patches of moss and dirt clinging to it. A bone-white mask with a sinister grin covered its face, and large black horns curved upward from its head, adding to its eerie presence.
Despite its fearsome appearance, the creature, Somnus, was fast asleep, its large body relaxed and peaceful. It groaned and shifted slightly, revealing more of its lazy, corpulent form. There was something almost endearing about the way it slept, its large wolf-like ears twitching and its soft purring filling the air.
Though powerful, Somnus seemed more like a slumbering giant, lost in a dream, indifferent to the world around it. The mask's sinister grin felt out of place compared to the creature's lazy, almost innocent demeanor, leaving you wondering about the life of this mystical being who cared for little more than sleep and rest.
