Greetings, I am Dame Louise Agnetha Lake-Tack, the former Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda. Born on July 26, 1944, in St. Philip Parish, Antigua, I have had the privilege of being the first woman to hold such a significant office in my country. My journey has been one of dedication to public service, starting from my education at Freetown Government School and later at the Antigua Girls High School. My career path led me from nursing at prestigious institutions in the United Kingdom to serving as a magistrate at various courts. I am grateful for the experiences and opportunities that have shaped my life and allowed me to contribute to the welfare of Antigua and Barbuda.
