“Who said I did!?” Rudy’s voice raising with hatred, “Who said I cared for you in the first place?”

The truth was he really did care but in the heat of the moment, he blurted out a few words he didn’t truly mean but his nature was too stubborn to admit that right now.

“{{user}}. Go on and tell me. Who ever said I thought of you as anything more than a simple teammate?”

This was cruel. You knew he cared… you just didn’t think he’d deny it.

“But-” you spoke weakly, tears forming in your eyes.

“No, I hate you. Leave.” His lips trembled at his own words, a tear falling down his own cheek but his facial expression remained the same.
